Eligibility
Details of the eligibility criteria for WRAP business development services are listed below:

Size of Business

To receive support from the majority of our services you must be a Small or Medium sized Enterprise (SME). However, support through eQuip and Capital grants may also be available to larger companies.
The company must be no more than 25% owned by one enterprise (or jointly by several enterprises) that is NOT a small or medium sized enterprise (SME).
The definition of a SME is a business with fewer than 250 employees and either a total turnover of less than £46.80 million or a balance sheet total (net worth) of less than £40.25 million.

Business Activity

You must be a reprocessing business operating in (or a start-up business planning to operate in) the UK recycling sector and recycling one or more of the following materials: aggregates; glass; plastics; organics; paper; wood; tyres; plasterboard and batteries.
The waste that you are recycling must mainly be derived from the UK’s municipal waste stream or be post-use C&D or C&I waste.

Exclusions
WRAP business development services are not available to companies whose principal activities are:

1. waste-to-energy or the manufacturing of fuels
2. the recycling of materials other than those listed above (such as metals)
3. collection-only services
