CEMEX UK, a leading supplier of cement, readymix concrete, mortars, screeds, aggregates etc – recently took delivery of a ‘specially’ customised 5000 series crusher from Red Rhino.

Cemex wanted not only a top of the range crusher, but also required some special customisations to the machine – a challenge Team Rhino excel at!

After an initial visit by Cemex to our HQ & a full demonstration of our range of machines, the 5000 proved to be the machine of choice, however several modifications were requested by Cemex Works Manager Mr Mick Cook to allow the 5000 crusher to operate in tandem with their existing plant & machinery. Following several discussions with Cemex, a final specification of machine was agreed upon, designed, built & delivered to the Northfleet Cemex facility within the time constraints required. The customisations included an engine immobiliser system, a florescent paint scheme, an extra step plus several other modifications.

Red Rhino’s General Manager Julian Mik completed the operator training course on site at Northfleet for 5 staff & handed the machine over to to a delighted Mr Cook.
